Joseph Nida

Joseph Nida, M.D., F.A.A.F.P.​

Joseph Nida, M.D., F.A.A.F.P. is a family physician who has been serving Webster Parish since 2005 and Minden since 2010. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been awarded the degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians for distinguished service and ongoing professional development. He grew up in Alexandria, LA but moved to Ruston, LA to attend Louisiana Tech University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Biology. Next, he attended Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport as a Berstein Academic Scholar and graduated with honors having been elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Nida then completed a residency in Family Medicine at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital through Louisiana State University Medical School New Orleans where he served as chief resident during his final year of training. He is an active member of the medical staff at Minden Medical Center and has served in various positions including President of the Medical Staff and Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He continues to work closely with Regional Hospice, Professional Home Health Springhill, and Town & Country Nursing Home. He enjoys seeing a broad range of patients from infants to the elderly treating both chronic conditions like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, COPD, Asthma, Heart Failure, Obesity/Weight Loss, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gastric Reflux, Eczema, and BPH as well as acute illnesses like Strep Throat, Acute Bronchitis, Back Pain, Shingles, Rashes, Sprains/Strains, Lacerations, Skin Lesions/Infections, Cysts, Ear Infections, Nausea/Vomiting, and Diarrhea. Dr. Nida also performs wellness evaluations including pap smears, DOT physicals, and Sports Physicals. He enjoys performing joint injections and minor skin procedures like biopsies. He believes that prevention is very important and helps his patients stay current on screening tests like colorectal cancer screening, breast cancer screening, lung cancer screening, skin cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, glaucoma screening, and recommended vaccinations. He has been married to his wife Jody for over 20 years and has three sons, David, John, and Paul. He is active in his church and community. He enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, singing, playing guitar, and piano.
Lynne Rhodes

Lynne Rhodes, F.N.P.-C

Lynne Rhodes, Family Nurse Practitioner, was born and raised in Minden, and graduated from Minden High School in 1975. She and her husband, Donnie, have 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. Lynne has worked in the healthcare field off and on since 1981. She became an RN in 1995, graduating from Northwestern State University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She completed her BSN from NSU in 2003, and completed an MSN through Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008. During these years, Lynne was an RN at Minden Medical Center, working in many clinical and management areas at the local hospital, including the ER, Day Surgery, and Women’s Services. In 2012, Lynne received her post-Masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. She enjoys taking care of all patients, but especially loves women’s health. She is committed to keeping patients healthy in her hometown community.

Beau Burton, F.N.P.

Beau is a native of Minden and has recently moved back to the community. He is thankful for the opportunity to provide primary care services to families in his hometown area. Beau has been a family nurse practitioner for eight years. He seeks to provide holistic care to his patients, considering all aspects of a person--the body, the mind, and the soul. He attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe for his nursing baccalaureate and later completed his FNP degree from Northwestern State University. Beau has a clinical background in trauma and emergency nursing and continues to practice part-time in the local emergency department. He has been joyfully married to Lexie for over ten years, and is the proud father of three sons, Isaac, Ezra, and Caleb. When not providing medical care, Beau loves working on his small family farm and serving in the local church.
